Most professionals agree that memory impaired individuals and medically frail individuals function better when they live in smaller surroundings with a familiar group of people. As a result, we refuse to have any ‘home-like’ facilities. We have real homes, just like the ones our members have lived in during their entire lives. Our beautiful homes are open and have a maximum of 6 community members and at least two daily caregivers. All care is coordinated and supervised by our Nurse Administrators. This allows members to remain in our caring homes and avoid institutional settings altogether. We provide superior care to assure our members the highest quality of life and to provide their families peace of mind. Assured Horizons is dedicated to serving seniors that are suffering with Alzheimer’s disease, stroke and other difficult medical conditions. We provide a quality of care well above the expected standards. We have 6 intimate homes located in Fountain Valley. Our staff is dedicated to developing the highest professional standards in residential care for the elderly. These high staffing ratios promote individualized attention and opportunities to address members’ individual needs and personal desires. This is accomplished in each home by having no more than 6 community members and at least 2 caregivers. These staffing ratios also increase the long-term stability of Assured Horizons’ caregivers assisting members.

In-house physicians, therapists, nurses, podiatrists and other trained care professionals work together to provide exceptional care for our community members. Mobile x-rays, mobile lab service, in-house incontinence products with free delivery and a pharmacy that bubble-packs monthly medications and delivers them for free: these are just a few of the things we do to make life simpler at the Heathers. Hospice and dementia waivers if needed. What Makes Us Special The Heathers McKinley, located in Mesa North, is our largest 6-bed home. It sits on a huge lot with many fruit trees and a great patio for dining or just relaxing with family and friends. Our warm and inviting home has a beachy, comfy feel and every bedroom has its own private bathroom with a wheel-in shower. We cater to couples in our large suite. Our community members love the 61 inch big screen TV.
